This winter, the Chenin Blanc Association is celebrating what makes the Cape winelands so special – Chenin Blanc and being outdoors! We challenge all mountain bikers to see how many Chenin Safari stops they can visit during the six-week period.
Should you choose to accept this challenge, you will earn yourself a designer cycling shirt and stand a chance to win fabulous prizes. Only 100 shirts are available for this challenge, so sign up soon at

The kick off of the six-week Chenin Safari is on 18 June 2022 with a fun ride hosted by the Wine Lands Cycling Club and Women on Wheels, ending at Ken Forrester Wines with a Chenin Blanc Festival.

The 42km loop will include the new 20km Spier trail network, starting at 96 Winery Road and ending at Ken Forrester Wines.
The 26km loop will be to the Stellenrust tasting room, starting at 96 Winery Road and ending at Ken Forrester Wines.

The riders will be able to take part in the Chenin Festival, upon arrival at Ken Forrester Wines.  Non-riders can purchase a ticket for the festival, which will showcase Chenin Blancs from 17 producers, perfectly paired with a gourmet boerewors roll available for sale at the festival.
